About 1st Highworth Scouts
Based in the Swindon North District in the county of Wiltshire, we are part of the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6 to 14-year-old girls and boys fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in our communities.
1st Highworth has two very active Scout troops for boys and girls aged from 10½ to 14 that meet on Thursdays and Fridays. In each troop we average between 25 and 30 scouts.
1st Highworth Scout Group has two active Beaver colonies that meet every week on either a Thursday or a Friday and we average 24 Beavers in each colony. Beaver Scouts are boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 years old and are the Scout Association’s youngest members.
1st Highworth Scout Group has two active Cub Scout packs. We meet on either Monday or a Wednesday and we average around 24 cubs in each pack. Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10½ years old.
