About Highworth & Swindon Walking Club

The Highworth and Swindon Walking Club is a friendly group whose members enjoy walking in the countryside. Our walks are typically 5 to 12 miles with gradients to suit all abilities. Short walks may include an optional pub lunch whilst one Sunday each month we visit the Brecon Beacons. The club has walking weekends away each year, exploring different parts of the country as well as social events.

Local Walks start at 10am or earier from designated car parks. Finish time depends on the length of the walk. Short walks finish with a pub lunch. Longer walks take a packed lunch and finish mid afternoon.

Meeting Frequency:	Twice a week, 52 weeks each year and occasional weekends away
Meeting Days:	Wednesday and Sunday. 2nd Sunday Welsh walks.
Meeting Time:	10am or earlier for local walks at designated car parks.
Costs:	Prospective members allowed up to 3 walks before paying annual subscription (currently £6).
